OceanPact’s 2025 Supplier Workshop brought together partners from all over Brazil for a day of sharing, alignment and joint construction of solutions. Divided into two shifts (the morning for materials and the afternoon for services), the event held by the Procurement and CSC Area focused on compliance, which was presented as the basis for excellence, efficiency and sustainable growth.
Featuring a light and interactive format, the meeting replaced traditional talks with roundtable discussions with internal leaders to foster debate and promote listening to suppliers.
“The goal was to speak clearly about the rules of the game, to show that compliance is not bureaucracy – it is what ensures that we can grow together and safely,” said Diego Sousa, the executive manager of OceanPact’s Procurement and CSC Area. “Growing without compliance means inflating a problem. And you can’t do that without an engaged supply chain. We don’t do anything alone; we need partnerships,” he added.
The event reinforced the company’s vision of compliance as the foundation for excellence. Procurement manager Thais Tavares reiterated the importance of addressing this issue in a practical and transparent manner. “Excellence is built on compliance. You can’t separate one from the other. Moreover, nonconformities need to be brought to light. We only improve when we have the courage to tackle areas where we need to evolve, and that goes for both sides,” she said.
For suppliers, the workshop was an opportunity to strengthen relationships and better understand OceanPact’s strategic direction.
“We cleared up a lot of uncertainties, and we will share this information with our managers. It was a productive day of learning and networking,” said Camilla Silva from supplier LNX Soluções.
The meeting also offered personalized assistance for operational questions involving the TechSocial and V360 platforms, as well as space for suppliers to present suggestions and share experiences with those responsible for the company’s purchasing processes.
