OceanPact recently participated in another edition of Clean Gulf, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to emergency response, which this year took place from November 7 to 9 in San Antonio, Texas.
“Clean Gulf is a major discussion forum for emergency response around the world. Since OceanPact was founded, we have made a point of being here to see everything that is being done in the market, evaluate new solutions for our clients and exchange experiences,” said OceanPact’s CEO, Flavio Andrade.
The annual event brings together experts, leaders and industry professionals to discuss best practices and technologies for challenges associated with offshore oil spill incidents.
The company was represented at the event by Flavio Andrade; EnvironPact’s CEO and OceanPact’s COO, Adriano Ranieri; OceanPact directors Érik Cunha and Marcelo Côrtes, OceanPact managers Jorge Elias, Bernardo Assis and Anna Gomide, and EnvironPact manager Renata Nagae.
OceanPact sponsored the event and welcomed clients, partners and suppliers to its booth. This year, the company also held a workshop on “Risk Management and Planning to Combat Oil Spills: New Challenges and Success Stories in Brazil,” which featured speakers from Brazil’s National Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP), the Brazilian environmental protection agency (IBAMA), oil company Petrobras, operators, trade association Arpel, OceanPact and its subsidiary EnvironPact.
