Learn about the studies presented:
– “Proposal of Methodology to Calculate the Probability of Domino Effect from Gas Pipeline Event,” by Rafael Monteiro together with Rogerio Ferreira, Alvaro Bezerra, Pedro Perez, Anna Nydia and Henrique Ferreira. This study proposes an alternative methodology for calculating the probability of a domino effect in gas pipelines, when an initial event generates a chain reaction in nearby assets.
– “Benefits of Implementing Management Systems for Emergency and Crisis in Complex Incident Scenarios,” by Raphael Oliveira. This study analyzes the application of incident command systems in the oil and gas sector. It highlights how the integration of emergency and crisis structures strengthens organizational readiness and encourages continuous improvement.
– “Assessment of Oil Spill Response Capabilities in a Multifaceted Port Environment – A Blueprint for Excellence,” by Raphael Oliveira, Luiza Saraiva and Adriano Ranieri, in partnership with and presented by Bruno Ramos from VAST. This study evaluates oil spill response capabilities in complex port environments. Based on a structured diagnosis of people, procedures and technology, the paper proposes strategic improvements in training, resources and stakeholder relations.
– “Implementing Risk-Based Process Safety Principles in the Gas Transport Sector – A Case Study,” written and presented by Gabriely Brunhara from NTS, in partnership with EnvironPact’s Renata Pinto. This case study reinforces the importance of cooperation between operators and consultants. The project structured a strategic roadmap to strengthen process safety elements, integrating ANP’s regulatory requirements with international best practices (CCPS/RBPS).
