OceanPact subsidiary EnvironPact sponsored and exhibited at the 8th edition of the VIEX Environmental Congress (known by Portuguese initials CAMBI), held in May in Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. Recognized as one of Brazil’s foremost sustainable development forums, the event brought together public officials, experts and leaders to discuss paths for economic growth together with social and environmental responsibility.
As part of the congress’ schedule of technical activities, EnvironPact presented its solutions in the areas of sustainability, risk, operational safety and resilience. The team welcomed representatives of companies, public agencies and research institutions to its booth, promoting dialogue on innovation, regulation and environmental best practices.
On the first day of the event, EnvironPact’s sustainability director, Ana Lyra, moderated a panel called “Climate resilience and adaptation practices,” featuring specialists from the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency, the Rio Grande do Sul Renewable Energy Trade Association (Sindienergia-RS), the Rio Grande do Sul State Public Prosecutors’ Office, the State Environmental Protection Agency (FEPAM-RS) and law firm BMA Advogados. The debate addressed topics such as risk management in the face of extreme weather events, regulation to foster resilient infrastructure and adaptation plans at different levels of government.
“We are committed to supporting the transition to a development model that respects the planet’s limits and generates sustainable value in the long term. CAMBI 2025 showed that there is an ecosystem engaged in this mission, and EnvironPact wants to be at the center of this transformation,” said Lyra.
