OceanPact and INPO strengthen ocean research and innovation partnership

Ongoing projects and new opportunities for collaboration between OceanPact and Brazil’s National Oceanographic Research Institute (INPO) were the focus of a meeting held on October 15 between OceanPact CEO Flavio Andrade and representatives of the institute. “We have been partners with INPO since its creation. It is a source of pride to see the institute fully established in a field that Brazil so greatly needs,” said Andrade.

During the meeting with INPO’s research and innovation director, Andrei Polejack, the parties discussed joint initiatives involving marine technology, ocean education and scientific innovation. The INPO team also made a technical visit to OceanPact Tech’s office at the Rio de Janeiro Federal University Technology Park, where solutions in environmental monitoring, automation and operational oceanography are being developed.

The visitors were able to see ongoing projects up close and observe firsthand how OceanPact technologies are applied in offshore operations.
