
OceanPact took part in discussions about sustainable practices, social impacts and the preservation of marine resources at the National Conference on Maritime and Port Law (CONADIMP), held by the Brazilian Bar Association on Tuesday, May 30.
“Sustainability is a fundamental pillar for OceanPact and we are committed to seeking solutions that combine innovation, technology and environmentally conscious practices to support the sector’s responsible development,” said OceanPact’s new business and sustainability director, Fernando Borensztein, during a panel discussion called “The Impact of ESG Issues on the Maritime Industry.”
OceanPact was also represented by Thiago Paes, the company’s legal manager, and his team. He highlighted the importance of CONADIMP as a space for dialogue and the sharing of experiences in the maritime industry. “This conference is a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, discuss challenges and establish strategic partnerships. We are proud to be part of this event,” he said.
CONADIMP brought together professionals from the maritime and port industry with the aim of promoting dialogue between the various stakeholders that drive the ocean economy. The event was supported by OceanPact, among other sponsors, and it was held on May 29 and 30 at Hotel Fairmont Rio in Rio de Janeiro.
