For the fourth consecutive year, we have earned Gold accreditation from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program for publishing our complete greenhouse gas emissions inventory.
This cycle also marks the second consecutive year in which we have fully reported all relevant Scope 3 categories. According to our sustainability and new business director, Fernando Borensztein, high-quality information is the starting point for effective climate management.
“This Gold accreditation recognizes the consistency and transparency of our emissions inventory, providing a solid foundation for decision-making, greater operational efficiency and the advancement of our decarbonization strategy, in line with the transition to a low-carbon economy,” he says.
The Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, developed by the Center for Sustainability Studies at the think tank and university Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVces), is the country’s leading initiative for accounting for and disclosing corporate greenhouse gas emissions inventories.
The 2026 cycle results will be announced on August 26 and 27 at the FGV São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) and livestreamed on YouTube.
