Oceanology International brought together the global oceanic community in London between March 15 and 17. OceanPact Geociências was present as a sponsor and exhibitor at this trade show, which takes place every two years. Over the course of three days, the exhibition hall hosted more than 500 companies, showcasing new technologies, processes, systems and aquatic demonstrations.
In addition to debates on the future of the oceanographic industry and the Blue Economy with market leaders, the event brought together industries that need products and services to perform their offshore activities.
Fred Marins, Oceanographer and OceanPact Geociências’ Commercial Director, explains that Oceanology International is the world’s main forum and meeting place for the business community, government officials and academics to share their experiences and advances in the oceanic industry and underwater research. The 2022 edition had a strong affinity with the work done by OceanPact Geociências, a world leader in research and investigations in coastal and offshore areas.
“This year, the trade show was especially important for OceanPact Geociências, which presented itself as a significant player for marine survey and subsea projects in the South Atlantic. This market is extremely concentrated in the Northern Hemisphere, especially the United States and Europe. In Brazil, our company stand out as it follows international standards, serves global clients and has the capacity to expand its services into other regions,” Marins says.
