OceanPact presents marine logistics and environmental protection services at Intermodal South America 2022

OceanPact’s team took part in person at Intermodal South America 2022, an event focused on logistics, intralogistics, cargo transportation and foreign trade. It brought together professionals and exhibiting companies from Brazil and other countries, involving both in-person and online activities, between March 15 and 17, at São Paulo Expo, an event venue.

At OceanPact’s booth, partner companies and clients were welcomed for conversations and presentations about marine logistics and environmental protection services. Filipe Lima, the director of OceanPact’s Logistics division, says that this edition of the event was important in terms of forming new alliances. “We have developed partnerships to structure our import service, which today receives cargo via various ports and airports, and we are looking for new suppliers in order to improve the services we offer,” he explains. Meanwhile, for OceanPact’s services division, Intermodal South America was an opportunity to highlight its emergency preparedness and response services for port terminals, as well as its licensing, monitoring, training, remediation, modeling and engineering services.

Bernardo Seefelder, OceanPact’s commercial manager, says that Intermodal brought people back together. “Representatives of OceanPact’s services, geoscience and logistics divisions, as well as Witt O’Brien’s, were present at our booth. We presented our services in all phases of crisis and emergency management, from prevention and preparedness to response, mitigation and business continuity for our clients. We also showed how our environmental emergency response bases provide greater security and environmental, financial and operational balance for port terminals and shipowners across Brazil. After two years without this event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 edition was very productive,” he says.
