OceanPact supports SP Ocean Week, a marine protection and conservation event

SP Ocean Week, the largest Brazilian event dedicated to water protection and conservation, is now in its fifth edition. OceanPact is once again supporting the event, which will take place from September 18 to 20 at the Latin American Memorial Cultural Center in São Paulo.

During SP Ocean Week, participants will be able to attend more than 20 panel discussions featuring 60 speakers from 20 NGOs and research institutes specializing in marine conservation, who will debate opportunities and solutions regarding the challenges of ocean conservation and knowledge.

Amandine Chevé, OceanPact’s new business manager, will take part in a panel called “Blue Connections: Integrating Actors and Sectors of the Innovation Ecosystem” on September 19, at 3 p.m. Moderated by Sandrelise Chaves of Ilhahub de Inovação, the panel will also include Claudio Teixeira of startup KhataVento and Juliana Borges of the Brazilian Micro and Small Enterprise Support Service (SEBRAE).

The three-day event will cover topics such as blue impact startups, decarbonization technology, the oil and gas industry, ports and coastal industries, development institutes and philanthropy. The event is free of charge. To find out more information and see the official program, visit www.spoceanweek.com.br.
