OceanPact workshop at Clean Gulf 2024

OceanPact is taking part in another edition of Clean Gulf, one of the world’s foremost emergency response events. The conference and trade show, held annually in the United States, will take place this year from November 18 to 20 in Houston. OceanPact was born as a consulting and emergency response company almost 17 years ago and has since expanded its range of activities. Since its foundation, OceanPact’s directors have represented the company at Clean Gulf several times and the company’s participation in the event has grown steadily.

For the second year running, OceanPact will be holding a workshop at Clean Gulf. Based on the theme “Monitoring, Detection and Management of Oil Spills: Technologies, Regulation and Sustainability in the Oil and Gas Industry,” OceanPact directors and guest speakers from the Brazilian environmental protection agency and industry operators will present Brazil’s context in terms of regulation, oversight, methodologies and technologies for monitoring, detecting and combating emergencies.

Brazil has a mature and robust regulatory framework on issues related to environmental protection, especially in the oil and gas industry. This experience positions the country as a benchmark for other nations that are preparing to face the challenges of harnessing marine resources such as oil by promoting sustainable and responsible practices.

OceanPact is also sponsoring Clean Gulf 2024, and it will have its own booth in the exhibition area to welcome partners and visitors and present its products, services, equipment and technologies, such as OceanPact Digital.
